Dr. Tyler Slaydon received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Parker University in Dallas, Texas, April 2023. During his time at Parker University, Dr. Tyler was involved with Rehab 2 Performance club and American Chiropractic Association Sports Council where he focused his time on the rehabilitation and effective treatment of athletes.
Dr. Tyler has experience working with athletes from the junior, collegiate, amateur, and professional levels. He has provided care for PGA tour Canada players, Olympic track and field athletes, as well as collegiate athletes from multiple sports. His interest in the field of chiropractic includes the utilization of functional assessment and training in conjunction with return to sport treatment and training. Dr. Tyler is a certified Titleist Performance Institute Medical Level 2 provider, holds certifications in Rocktape Functional Movement taping Basic and Advanced, Selective Functional Movement Assessment, Functional Dry Needling, and has been previously a certified Active Release Techniques (ART) Upper Extremity provider (April 2022-March 2023).
Prior to attending chiropractic school, he completed his undergraduate work at Lamar University. While at Lamar, he was a division I Football athlete and was elected as a team captain for the 2018-2019 season. He also served in multiple student athlete leadership positions at the university.
Dr. Tyler is a native of Bryan-College Station, Tx. He is happily married to his wife, Riley, and together they have a son, Ryder.
